Dr. Etherington is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine and Assistant Dean of Phase 2 at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. She completed medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and Internal Medicine residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She was a Society to Improve Diagnosis in Medicine (SIDM) Fellow in Diagnostic Excellence in AY 2023-2024 and earned a master’s degree in medical education at the University of Pittsburgh in 2024. Her interests are in clinical education and communication of diagnostic reasoning.
